We’ve been delivered a growing number of Five Star, Green Star and NABERS rated projects and support the Green Star building code initiative. Our Story

Established in 2002, in the front room of Managing Director Michael Lawson’s home, it’s fair to say Northerly has come a long way, but Michael’s vision for the future and belief in the company’s direction remains the same. The aim is and has always been to discover the best, most innovative solutions and to develop and build properties which create positive outcomes for our clients, partners and the people who inhabit and use our buildings. Our passion for property continues, ensuring our work delivers top functionality and liveability, yields profits and results in beautiful spaces.

We’ve earned industry respect as experienced and skilled developers of multi-unit, retail and commercial properties. We’ve also developed and grown as specialists, recognised as creating exceptional retirement living, aged care and special needs accommodation.

Health and Safety

We hold ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management accreditation and are accredited by the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC). Extensive risk management processes are integrated into our business systems to ensure risks in every phase of the project are addressed.


Global environmental challenges have strengthened our commitment to inspire and lead with innovative solutions. ‘Green development’ isn’t a passing trend, it’s vital to ensure our future. Positive environmental impact is our aim. We’re accredited for ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management Systems. We encourage collaboration by all team members and partners to attain ethical, environmentally sustainable solutions and outcomes where possible.
