Tain Street Apartments

A compact and contemporary design, with an internal floor plan that optimizes the use of space across all apartments and terrace townhouses.

We built this contemporary four storey apartment complex and six terrace townhouses in Ardross.

The original windows sun shading was scheduled to be CFC sheeting on a lightweight steel frame, but the design presented waterproofing and future maintenance issues to an area that would be difficult to access on completion.

We proposed an alternative design incorporating support for the shades into the structure of the building and replaced bulky CFC shades with slimline louvers, enhancing the contemporary facade and allowing more winter light into the upstairs bedroom and bathroom.
