Church House

A construction and refurbishment project - Church House is now regarded as an outstanding example of urban planning, design, and redevelopment.

A major component of the St.Georges Heritage Precinct redevelopment was the complete refurbishment of the Public Trustees building, breathing new life into existing resources and creating a valuable new asset.

Renamed Church House, the existing building was stripped back to its structural skeleton and re-clad in a fitted glass and terracotta tile façade. A complete internal refit was undertaken – finishes, fixtures, lifts and the ground floor opened up, inviting foot traffic. Floor plates extended to expand available space, and an eleventh floor was added.

Designed by Cameron Chisholm Nicol, Church House is hailed as an outstanding example of urban planning, design, and redevelopment.
