Northerly brings Fairground Frivolity to Life
Located on Murray St, Flight Club’s ‘vintage inspired’ interior fit-out references the heritage of darts, the fun of the fairground and the warmth of a British pub.
Venue owners, NightOwl Entertainment, have revolutionized the game of darts as we know it with fast-paced, multi-player games of up to 12 people. The spectacular playing area and interior includes lights that dance in time to music, antiques and rare finds from UK flea markets, stunning stained-glass windows and a fairground horse named ‘Lucy.’
Northerly and select consultants were hand-picked to create the concept which originated in the UK and is now enjoying success globally. In the week leading up to the December 10 opening, 42,115 darts were ’thrown and tested’, during a Classic Tournament for the 50 strong team that helped bring it all together.
Managing Director, Michael Lawson, said both he and the Northerly team were pleased to have been able to bring their client’s unique project to life.
