Montreal Commons – announced as a One Planet Living® Project

At a recent event supported by Development WA, Montreal Commons apartments were acknowledged by Bioregional Australia as an Australian One Planet Living® project of international standing and an outstanding example of the use of the Bioregional International One Planet Living® framework.

Northerly is proud to play an important part in the construction of Montreal Commons, which is one of the first carbon neutral certified apartment developments in Australia and showcases sustainable development initiatives, cutting-edge technologies and a strict commitment to the guiding principles of ‘One Planet Living’ in the design and construction of the apartments.

Essentially, residents will ‘get paid to live low carbon’ through the use of solar panels, battery storage and an innovative internal power trading arrangement that delivers a 50% offset to building strata.
